General Investment Risks
- •Market Risk: The value of investments can fluctuate due to changes in market conditions, economic environment, and geopolitical events. Market prices can be volatile, and losses can be substantial.
- •Currency Risk: For investments denominated in foreign currencies, fluctuations in exchange rates can affect the value of your investment and any income received.
- •Liquidity Risk: Some investments may be difficult to sell quickly or at a fair price, particularly in stressed market conditions.
- •Concentration Risk: Portfolios focused on specific sectors, geographic regions, or asset classes may be subject to higher volatility and greater losses.
- •Counterparty Risk: The failure of a counterparty to meet its obligations could result in financial loss.
Derivatives and Leveraged Products
- •Leverage Risk: Products using leverage can result in losses that exceed your initial investment. Small market movements can have a disproportionately large impact on your position.
- •Spread Betting & CFDs: These products are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. You should consider whether you understand how these products work and whether you can afford to take the high risk of losing your money.
- •Margin Requirements: You may be required to deposit additional margin at short notice. Failure to meet margin calls may result in positions being closed at a loss.

- •Model Risk: Quantitative models are based on assumptions and historical data that may not hold true in the future. Models can fail in unpredictable market conditions.
